Pictures?

Remember a couple of weeks ago I commented on how I didn't know how to get the pictures off my camera and on to my computer and then on to my blog? Well most of that is still true. I've learned how to get the pictures on my computer on to my blog, but that's it. Yes all those lovely pictures you've been seeing, are just old. Notice my baby is not in any of them. And I still have no clue how to fix it. My camera is just odd and I don't like it. So until I break down and get know my camera and allow it to be part of my life and make it feel wanted, I don't think the camera will play nice and give me my pictures. Maybe I should name it? Any ideas?

Oh Yeah, I forgot to Post.

So Apparently I haven't posted in a long time. Ten Days I think? Anyway that is way too long. Of course loads has happen since I last posted, but I can't remember what.

This week we are preparing our garden. I just don't know what we are preparing it for. Hopefully this year it will be something tasty like beets and pickles instead of the weeds we grew last year. Their not as tasty as you might think. Plus they hurt your hands, and are ugly, and produce more weeds that hurt and look bad and then it becomes a never ending cycle that is so burdensome that you just decide to hide in your house pretending that you don't have a garden and have no clue what the neighbors are complaining about or what the joggers are staring at and hoping this is all a bad dream that you can wake up from but then never do until the snow falls and everything is okay again.

Sorry gardening isn't my strong point and I'm kind of scared of it. I keep hoping that one day I will wake up and be told that it's okay, you don't have to garden just go out and buy 314 cans of corn and green beans and your family will survive. But I don't foresee that happening. Too Bad eh?

Too Young

So I heard tell of a mother who suggested to her daughter that she has to wait to get married until she is at least 19. And as usual I got upset. 19 is far too young and people shouldn't be getting married at that age. The other year in the Dear Abby Section of the paper I read about a mother who wasn't sure what to do about her 18 year old daughter dating a 21 year old man. Again I was really upset. No one that young should be dating anyone near that age. He was FAR too old for her.

Did I happen to mention that Isaac was twenty-three and I was nineteen when we were married? And that I began dating Isaac when he was twenty-two and I was fresh out of high school?

Isn't it interesting that when we are younger some things are okay, like mixing our peas and potatoes and gravy all together and then eating with a roll, but when we get older the idea is repulsive.

Should I Stay or Should I Go?

My Husband has never stay in the same spot four years straight since he was 8 years old. I have never stayed in one spot for more than five years. We are coming up on our third year in our house and Hubby is getting a little jittery. He has even been looking at jobs elsewhere in the country. So when a job offer in Florida came up, Hubby was very interested. Even made a trip and looked at the area. There was a lot of things about the offer and area that was appealing. So we prayed about it, did some research (we could sell our house and get a house with a pool near Disney World with little debt) and decided to........

How about this weather? I tell ya I am not a fan of cold weather. I am ready for it to be spring. The kids are excited for summer too. They think that they will be spending the summer at Cherry Hill again. But since the Utah Dept. of Health might ban all children under 5 from public pools again, I am not going to waste my money on a pass I can't use.

Oh and in case you wanted to know, we are going to be living in Kaysville.
YEAH!!!!

I'm Almost Cool

The results are in and the polls say that you think (at least the people brave enough to read my whole blog AND vote) that I am the coolest Mom on the planet. 80% thought I was cool and 20% of you thought I was lame. But since 20% is one person I don't feel too bad. Except that Chicka agrees with you. Sometimes Munckin and Mita agree with you also. But that's okay. I know that 80% of the people who read my blog love me. Which is um, four people..... and I have five kids. Math isn't on my side today.

On to happier news. Um.......well.......I'm thirty-two now. And..... I..... have great kids...........who think I'm lame. So how are you????
