While living in France I used to send out group emails called TAFHYS they stood for just about anything we could come up with likeThose Amazing French Hoffmans Yelling Sporadically Hubby would make comments in (these things) I just came across these gems and thought I would share one. Names have been changed of course.
Dear Everyone and dog toto too (Hey, what about me!),
Is there anyone out there NOT being copied on my emails? I should send these to the two mothers and have them send it on to everyone else. I thought I would have my own little exclusive club but NO. My moms are going to make me share wheather I like it or not. Okay I'm done with my venting. I'm glad your all along for the ride. If you ever get an inckling to let me know you are out there, PLEASE send me an email. I LOVE to hear about people. If you think it's useless information, think again. Why do you think I've got a bunch of quotes rolling around in my head. I love useless info. Isaac enjoys the good old useful stuff, so send us ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. I hope this email gets passed along. (Whew, was that as long as I thought it was? Yes, bad,bad Cutey. She sent out the e-mail without my ever needful editorial additions. So, you get two today, and you get to see how much of an impact I make, or don't on the value of these things.)
Well here in Mita's loving France the wheather is GREAT! (no I don't know what she means either) It's May now and that means we can do what we want, so say the french.* I walked Chicka to school today and just loved it. Such a beautful day should be enjoyed and shared with anyone willing to make like Colombus and cross the Altantic (she means make like Leif Erickson and get here quicker). Only the other way. After we, being Mita and Mister in the strooler (stroller), Munchkin walking, (and herself), Munchkin then wanted to run all the way home. The only problem was that Munchkin was wearing her Tucker pants, ie. pants that sagged on her bottomed (they hung off her butt, OK?). Well two steps into the run the pants started to slip. Usually at this point Munchkin will stop, complain about her pants, then pout for the next minute. Not today. No, she just grab(ed) those sorry pants and ran. Imanage this scene if you can. Munchkin running full bore downhill, with both hands holding up her pants a little to high with her elbows swinging wildly. Wish I had a camara (digital vid, for sure, as I try to see through my tears of laughter).
Chicka is doing well in school. I'm trying very hard to convince her that she needs to learn french (this is rapidly rubbing off, the French don't capitalize any country names, even and especially their own. I haven't found a good explanation for this yet other than laziness). Her opinion is that if the kids are trying to learn english (see, there it isn't again) and that if she has a english speaking teacher, why bother? Kids these days are getting too smart for my tastes. And to think that I convinced myself that it was okay not to do well in school because I was going to be a stay at home mom. Next time I have kids I'll earn a PhD in everthing (of course, I don't think that this "next time" is going to be on this planet, fortunately).
Mister is delvloping (developing) more and more everyday. The Moms are going to hurt me soon if I don't send pictures. I'm working on it. We need to get more RAM if we are going to get anything else done on our computer. I used to think that Mom2 was a little on the paronid side when she would talk about her computer problems overseas. Let me tell you, she wasn't exagetning (that would be, "exagerating").
I hope ALL of you are doing well. Hope life is happy with you. BYE
